After the early story scenes, I wanted Mistral to be somewhere you could spend a little time. The first town expansion adds residents, optional errands, shops, and daily routines to the private build.
The optional activities open after Episode 2. They keep their own progress, so exploring the town doesn’t rewrite the main story. Conversations and services also step aside when a protected story scene needs to run.
These extra residents and activities are adaptations intended to fit the world. The original Shadow of Israphel story is still the foundation. This first pass needs more testing, and it doesn’t mean the later episodes are finished.
